Conditions of the entrance examination
- A recital lasting 70-80 minutes, consisting of pieces from different styles. It must include compositions of high technical or artistic quality. The candidate will demonstrate his/her technical and musical maturity during the talent test.
- The entrance examination includes an exam in a foreign non-Slavic language (A or N), the result of which constitutes 10% of the total grade. The foreign language examination is conducted as a written lexical-grammatical test at B 1+ SERR level. The test also tests knowledge of specialist terminology in the field of music.
Program
- J. S. Bach: serious composition with fugue
- J. S. Bach: selection of one of six trio sonatas
- Compositions from the 16th or 17th century, excluding a work by J. S. Bach of the applicant’s choice
- A serious composition from the period of musical romanticism
- A piece of modern character, composed in the 20th or 21st century
The programme can be freely extended to the desired length of 70 – 80 minutes.
The entrance exam includes a general knowledge test, which makes up 10% of the overall assessment
