What the specialisation Opera directing offers
The study of opera directing at the JAMU offers many incentives and practical experience for development in several directions. Intensive artistic practice goes hand in hand with theory. And since opera is the type of theatre that combines the most expressive means, opera directing is necessarily a multidisciplinary field. That is why students develop and train in a wide range of disciplines at both faculties. They deepen their knowledge of theatre and music, acquire the basics of technical disciplines, devote themselves to professional work with creative teams, organizational activities, dramaturgy, their own work and other necessary areas.
