The Music Production study programme at JAMU is one of the unique fields of study that combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills in the field of cultural management with a specialisation in music. Our graduates find employment as directors of cultural institutions, music managers, agents or producers and significantly contribute to the shaping of musical and cultural life in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Education is provided by a team of experienced teachers and experts working in leading cultural institutions and organisations. Among them are, for example, Marie Kučerová, director of the Brno Philharmonic, Jana Janulíková, director of TIC Brno, Martin Královič, managing director of PS Events, Zdeňka Vlachovská, director of the Barka Theatre and producer of the Orlí Theatre, and Jan Petr, technical deputy of the Moravian Theatre Olomouc, Jana Vondráčková, secretary of the JAMU Faculty of Arts, Vít Kouřil, editor-in-chief of the Seventh Generation, Markéta Štěpáníková, an expert in the field of art and law, Michaela Bóková, a music producer anchored in Berlin, Eva Dittrichová from the C. E. M. A., Zuzana Ježková, soft skills expert, and Simona Škarabelová, fundraiser at the National Theatre Brno.
