Admission to study requires a full Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of study of the study programme Playing Wind Instruments and the relevant specialisation. Applicants who have studied Bachelor’s degree courses must demonstrate an exceptional level in their specialisation in the practical examination. The practical examination determines the professional and, above all, artistic aptitude for studying the chosen specialisation of the study programme.

  1. A prepared programme of approximately 70 minutes, consisting of pieces from three different styles, at least one of which must be performed by heart. The choice of repertoire is left to the candidate and the admissions committee will, inter alia, assess the suitability of this choice.
  2. The entrance examination includes an examination in a foreign non-Slavic language (A or N), the result of which constitutes 10% of the total mark. The foreign language examination is conducted as a written lexical-grammatical test at B 1+ SERR level. The test also tests knowledge of specialist terminology in the field of music
