The rehearsal committee may shorten the rehearsal performance or determine the selection of songs if necessary. Playing by heart is a requirement. Talent rehearsals are public and are held in the presence of an audience. The performance is scored by the individual members of the committee in the range of 0-25 points. The resulting grade point average is 90% of the overall entrance exam score.
The entrance examination includes a general knowledge test, the score of which constitutes 10% of the total mark.
The admission procedure to the study programme Piano Performance is the same for both specialisations Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy and Piano Performance and Chamber Music. The student chooses his/her specialisation during the course of studies.
