What students will learn
Students explore different types and formats of multimedia, i.e. art forms ranging from traditional to new media that are mostly time-based art. The result is, for example, a real or virtual multimedia performance, an interactive spatial installation, an environment, an audiovisual composition, sounding objects or generally special musical instruments, a video clip, body art, experimental film, documentary, music or dance performance for specific environments, public space or the digital world of the Internet, but also for standard institutional presentations of contemporary art.
What is emphasised
In the follow-up two-year study, emphasis is placed on the development of students’ skills through practical work with technologies, which will verify the acquired knowledge. This is the independent creation and public presentation of multimedia projects of various kinds in school buildings, public spaces or professional institutions. However, students also participate in the preparation of films and theatre performances and collaborate on various interdisciplinary projects.
