Repertoár by měl obsahovat nejméně:

- symphonies from the classical period (Joseph Haydn or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
- symphonies from the Romantic period (e.g. Antonín Dvořák: Symphonies 5-9, Petr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Symphonies 4 and 5, etc.)
- Candidates will bring scores of these prepared pieces in duplicate. If candidates prepare a symphony not listed in the selection, they must inform the Head of Department 14 days before the examination.
- In the second part of the examination, the candidate conducts recitatives from Act I of Bedřich Smetana’s opera The Bartered Bride with piano.
