Where does the JAMU teach the clarinet?
The study specialisation Clarinet playing is taught at the Department of Wind Instruments. This department prepares professional artists for work in symphony, theatre and chamber orchestras as well as future teachers for primary, secondary and higher education. Teaching at the Department of Wind Instruments builds on the historical legacy provided by the cultural traditions of the Moravian capital and its geographical location.
Applying
After graduation, graduates will have the practical knowledge and skills they need for artistic activity and, thanks to their theoretical education, they will also be able to work as teachers in primary art schools.
Where do graduates of the clarinet playing specialisation find employment?
After graduating in Clarinet Performance, they will find employment as soloists or chamber or orchestral players who will be able to cover a wide repertoire of all styles.
