Jāzeps Vītols 7th International Choral Conducting Competition

We invite young choir conductors to participate in the 7th annual Jāzeps Vītols International Choir Conductors’ Competition, which will take place November 23–27, 2026, in Riga, Latvia.

The competition builds on more than 150 years of choral singing and conducting tradition in the Baltic states and offers young conductors the opportunity to showcase their skills in an international setting while collaborating with the best Latvian choirs—the Latvian Radio Choir, the State Choir LATVIA, the Riga Chamber Choir AVE SOL, the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music Mixed Choir, and the Riga Cathedral Girls’ Choir TIARA. The competition will be judged by an international jury.
