We are very pleased to share the news that Jan Schulmeister, a student of Piano Performance at the JAMU Faculty of Music, has been nominated for the BBC Music Magazine Awards 2026 in the Newcomer Award category.

The nominee was his debut album Mussorgsky – Rachmaninov – Scriabin – Piano Works under the Supraphon label, which impressed with its distinctive musical maturity, interpretive sensitivity and dramaturgically thought-out selection of repertoire.
